Akasia Jackson, Sports Editor
Hi, my name is Akasia Jackson this is my Junior year of highschool and I am the new sports editor for Journalism this year. I have always loved writing and I have always been very intrigued by sports. I have found that a combination of both has really made Journalism a central career option for my future. I have a very interesting perspective on sports, especially in my life. As someone who has played sports since I was 6 I have found that sports are a form of mental and emotional self-care for myself and many others. My favorite sport is basketball and it has been the only sport I have taken seriously for most of my life so far. I have also found a love for track and field since middle school. Lastly, I am very excited to experience my third year of Journalism as a sports editor with the Pack News.
